This is three posts in one week now, nobody breath I am on a roll! It's Spring, Summer is on it's way (maybe I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself there but even if slowly but surely, it IS on it's way!!) So let's talk perfumes, your favourite fragrances, maybe you're a little bit of a perfume hoarder and you have different scents that you pull out for each season, I sort of wish I could be this kind of person but I am way too Monica from Friends practical & organised and won't usually buy a new perfume unless I've completely run out of the previous one as I don't like to spend loads of money on a fragrance and then have it pushed aside and forgotten about, I like to let my perfumes have their moment to shine. I've mentioned over here before my love for Liz Earle's lovely collection of perfumes, I think it's safe to say that I am just a little bit Liz obsessed, and I've also currently got about 3 of Charlotte Tilbury's new perfume samples on the go, you know from when you spend way too much and they send you some freebie samples after you've spent a certain amount, yeah, me. & let me tell you, it smells delicious and allllll kinds of Spring/Summer in a bottle.

So in the spirit of me almost running out of my beloved Liz Earle Botanical Essence No.20, I thought I would do a little post, make some more little graphics and get a little creative. This time featuring some of the perfumes I've currently got my eye on that I think are a perfect fit and scent for this upcoming season. Obviously I won't be purchasing all of them, I'm not quite Kim Kardashian lost her diamond earring in the ocean but it's ok because we can just buy another one, quite yet. (Or any time soon for that matter..) But a girl CAN dream. Even if I would be spending all of my money on saving the elephants and donkey's of the world, I would like to smell nice whilst I do that!

Bella Freud 1970 Eau de Parfum

As you can tell from the graphic above, there is most definitely more than just one Bella Freud perfume I have on my wish list at the moment, but the first one I ever discovered & caught my eye is 1970. I mean of course the bottles are extremely Instagrammable, but the main reason for these scents being at the top of my fragrance wish list would have to be down to everything that they represent and the story behind their creation, the whole vintage ora. Rose de Mai and Saffron are perfect scents for Summer and I'm not even going to try and deny the fact that I need to have this Bella Freud Black Wool Je T'aime Jane Jumper in my wardrobe before the colder months roll around.

Clive Christian No 1 Floriental Feminine & Clive Christian C Eau de Parfum

Clive Christian is a brand of fragrances that I only just discovered recently, but I was instantly intrigued/hooked and I'd be lying if I said it wasn't partly due to the super fancy lids of these bottles, it's a freakin' golden crown. Their fancy fancy bottles contain some of my most favourite scents, including Frankincense, Pink Pepper, Neroli, Jasmine & Orange Blossom, Damask Rose & Saffron and of course Sandalwood. Along with these perfumes looking pretty snazzy and I imagine smelling so too, (I have some samples on the way so I will update this!) They are on the a little bit more luxurious, higher priced scale of perfumes so for me anyway I feel like they're a little bit more special than just an ordinary perfume, the kind of perfume that you buy once for that special someone as a gift, whatever the time of year, maybe your mum for her birthday, or a loved one, I do think these perfumes would make an amazing Christmas gift, but we're not quite there yet, although I'm sure it will swing around fast enough! They also have a pretty nifty selection of men's fragrances too, each perfume has a double, so a masculine and a feminine version, because we've got to look out for the dad's and the boyfriends too. Or if you're a lady who prefers more masculine scents and vice versa then knock yourself out there too, it's a free country. I adore the look of all of these perfumes, but the two mentioned in this post are the two that stood out to me the most not just packaging wise, I'm mostly drawn towards refreshing, floral and woody scents and these are the two fragrances that had me really intrigued.

Neom Energy Burst 100% Natural Eau de Parfum

I've been a fan of Neom now for about 2 years I think, and an avid one at that! Even more so when I realised their candles and some of their other products are sold in my local John Lewis and anyone else who knows who I'm talking about when I say Neom will know that they are the ONE when it comes to candles, I'm pretty sure I've asked for a Neom candle every year for my birthday/Christmas since I discovered them. Yes, I'm a blogger and a candle fanatic #cliche. But I literally had no idea they stocked so much more than just candles and I love love love them because all of their products are super natural/cruelty free which is what I'm all about, and they're all round beautiful let's be honest. Very recently they released a perfume into their Energy Burst range and I must get my hands on it, 50% because Neom never disappoint with their scents and 50% because the bottle has a rose lid people. I love that they have a different range to suit each mood and the fact that this perfume is specifically designed to uplift and energise your mood, I'm always down for that. With grapefruit, sparkling lemon and rosemary, I know this perfume will smell like Summer in a bottle.
Let me know, what are some of your favourite perfume scents for the Summer months?
